Federal Government Announces Investment in the Espace solidaire Mile-End

On June 4, the federal government announced $11.3 million in funding, under the Green and Inclusive Community Buildings Program, to create a new community hub in Mile-End.

This accessible, community-building space will provide essential services to neighborhood residents. This investment will enable the renovation of this heritage building to transform it into a modern and inclusive space. Once the work is complete, several community organizations and a daycare center will move in.

The official name of this new space will be announced in the coming months. This initiative will help revitalize the area while strengthening local services for residents.
