Fondaction

In 2004, Fondaction became partners with the SDA and, more specifically, partnered in the development of the Technopôle Angus project. Since then, the organization has invested in the Technopôle Angus, along with the Carrefour Saint-Laurent and Sainte-Catherine projects.

Fondaction also created the Fonds Immobilier Angus (Real Estate Fund) to develop projects beyond the Technopôle Angus. The Société de développement Angus is the general partner in this real estate fund. Fondaction also owns the Carré Saint-Laurent, whose daily operations are managed by the SDA.

Quebec Montreal
The Government of Quebec and City of Montreal

The SDA received $20.5 M in financial aid from the Government of Quebec, in collaboration with the City of Montreal, to create the green infrastructures in the Technopôle Angus eco-district.

This aid made it possible to decontaminate the soil, install an energy loop that supports optimal heat exchange between the buildings and implement a rainwater collection system.

Firm
Fonds d’initiative et de rayonnement de la métropole (FIRM)

To aid in the development of their projects in East Montreal, the SDA received $450,000 in financial support from the Fonds d’initiative et de rayonnement de la métropole (FIRM) to stimulate economic, cultural and social activity in the area.

This support will allow the organization to implement an action plan to revitalize East Montreal by mobilizing and developing structuring projects.

IQ Canada
Investissement Québec and Canada Economic Development

The Technopôle Angus was brought to life thanks to the support of Investissement Québec and Canada Economic Development, who acted as catalysts for the project by granting loans to the SDA.

In January 2019, the Société de développement Angus made the final repayment of the loan to Investissement Québec and Canada Economic Development, totalling $32 M.
