The mission of this important community health care centre is to offer health care and social services and improve the public’s general health and well-being. The CLSC was the first to receive LEED-NC certification and the building boasts a white roof, along with a high-efficiency ventilation system that translates into significant energy savings.

The Angus values in full view here include quality jobs, more nearby services for residents and green construction. The CLSC’s longevity is anchored by a 30-year lease with the Government of Quebec.

On April 20, 2021, the year of its 70th anniversary, the Société de développement Angus paid tribute to André Lavallée's exceptional contribution to the Technopôle Angus by naming the CLSC building the "André Lavallée Building." Thanks to his continued support during the revitalization of the Angus Shops, André Lavallée is known as a pillar of Angus.
