Exceptional Housing and Living Environment

L'Îlot Angus was designed so that tenants could enjoy quality housing and an exceptional living environment in the heart of an urban eco-district, providing them with a real place to call home for many years to come. The apartments are bright and spacious, designed with the tenants' well-being in mind.

Architecture Reflecting its Industrial Past

The Îlot Angus design was inspired by the sector's industrial history, with brick walls and steel elements that are representative of the former Angus Workshops. The housing complex includes:

  • 4 wings, positioned for maximum natural light and ventilation
  • 4 walkways, connecting the wings, with a strong structural framework
  • Lush indoor courtyards

Affordability Guaranteed

The building will be owned by an NPO whose mission is to improve access to affordable housing at below-market prices, while ensuring the affordability of these units. This initiative was made possible with financial support from the Government of Canada, the Government of Quebec, and the City of Montreal.
