A Community Centre at the Heart of Mile-End
Espace solidaire will have rental spaces available for community organizations and social economy businesses that offer community and social services to local residents. This revitalization project aims to ensure that the Alexis le Trotteur daycare centre keeps its doors open, after being a part of the community for over 40 years, while fostering a true community ecosystem where social innovation, solidarity and mutual aid exist to meet the needs of the community.
A Collaborative Approach
Espace solidaire doesn't just offer rental spaces. It's a place for the community to come together, where future tenants are invited to actively participate in creating a service offering that meets the community's needs together.
It's also a place for organizations to meet and collaborate, with common areas and shared equipment and resources at their disposal. Shared spaces foster collaboration and contribute to a vibrant community centre.
