Lignes de désir - The City of Tomorrow
“Each step helps us pave the way.” Relying on humans and working together as a team is the desire path to be taken when designing future cities. Citizens must be an integral part of the conceptualization and design process of a project. Cities are composite. Christine Beaulieu is completely aware of that, as this diversity is something that she loves seeing in her own neighbourhood. So it’s time to break down the barriers, walls and everyone’s habits because prioritizing individualism, property and independence is not a viable solution for the years to come. We need to change the way we think. By being more inclusive and respectful of our differences, it will allow future projects to endure. But in order to do this, we need to try new ways that may be more challenging and think outside of the box.
